Job title: Supply and Long-Term Teachers, Primary and Secondary

Location: Greater London and the Home Counties (Surrey, Kent, Essex, Hertfordshire, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, East and West Sussex)

Contract type: Temporary — day-to-day & long-term assignments

Working pattern: Full-time / flexible, term time

Rate of pay: Competitive daily rates, dependent on role and experience, paid weekly, PAYE, no umbrella company

Start date: Immediate start, ongoing opportunities

First Call Education is recruiting primary and secondary teachers for day-to-day cover and long-term contracts across our partner schools in London and the Home Counties. Whether you want one day a week or a full term, we match you to roles close to home and within your specialism. Early career teachers (ECTs) are welcome to apply.

Supply Teacher — what you'll do

  • Deliver engaging, planned lessons across your subject and phase.
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively and professionally.
  • Follow lesson plans and school policies, supporting pupils' learning and development.
  • Adapt quickly to different classes, schools and requirements.

Who we want to hear from

  • QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Recent classroom experience, any phase, key stage or subject.
  • Confident behaviour management and strong subject knowledge.
  • ECTs looking to build further classroom experience.
  • Enhanced DBS check with children's barred list (or willing to obtain one, we'll guide you through it).
  • You must have the existing right to work in the UK. We are unable to offer visa sponsorship.
