Active Sussex has a small but inspiring team that needs a new recruit to take on the challenges and rewards of helping the Trust work towards reducing inequalities through access to physical activity opportunities.

Strategic Lead for Impact and Delivery 

Job Purpose: 

• Lead the implementation of the Place Universal Offer (PUO) delivery plan, ensuring high‑quality, evidence‑informed delivery across all places and partner organisations.
• Work closely with the CEO and Senior Leadership Team to translate organisational priorities into coordinated, effective delivery.
• Ensure learning from delivery activity informs strategic decision‑making and continuous improvement.
• Identify priority places for targeted delivery, drawing on effective models from across the Active Partnership network.
• Lead the development and embedding of consistent learning and evaluation frameworks to measure impact across all activity.
• Use insight and evaluation to strengthen future work and support the reduction of inequalities through place‑based delivery.
