  • Based from The Horder Centre in Crowborough, East Sussex, we are looking for a

    Senior Theatre Practitionerto join our dedicated surgical team and help deliver exceptional care in a specialist orthopaedic hospital known for outstanding patient outcomes.

    Playing a key role in supporting the safe and efficient running of theatre sessions, you will work collaboratively with surgeons, anaesthetists and the wider perioperative team to ensure the highest standards of patient care.

    What You’ll Be Doing
    • Provide high-quality perioperative care across the pre-operative, intra-operative and post-operative pathway.
    • Prepare and maintain operating theatres, instruments and equipment
    • Support surgeons and anaesthetists during surgical procedures
    • Ensure the correct surgical instruments, implants and consumables are available
    • Monitor patients during procedures and respond to any clinical changes
    • Maintain strict infection prevention and control standards
    • Ensure accurate patient documentation and records
    About You

    We’re looking for passionate theatre professionals who are committed to delivering exceptional patient care.

    • Current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council or Nursing and Midwifery Council
    • Prior experience working in operating theatres
    • Excellent communication and leadership skills
    • A proactive approach and commitment to high clinical standards
    • Experience within orthopaedics is desirable but not essential.
    Location:The Horder Centre, CrowboroughContract Type:37.5 hours per weekWork Pattern:4 x 8am to 6pm shifts per week, with limited weekend requirementSalary:£38,941.50 - £42,958.50 per annum, depending on experienceRight to work in the UKIn accordance with Home Office guidance, successful candidates will be required to evidence their right to work in the UK before commencing employment.
