Senior PPC Executive

Do you want to apply your PPC expertise to campaigns that genuinely make a difference, while working across a diverse mix of fundraising and brand activity?

This role offers the opportunity to manage and suggest optimisations for paid search, display, video and performance max campaigns at scale, collaborate closely with specialist digital and data teams, and use insight and performance data to maximise impact for a cause that matters.

We are looking for a Senior PPC executive to join our growing Digital Engagement team at Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity (GOSH Charity) on a permanent full-time contract.


Salary

Salary

The salary for this position is £39,368 per annum and we operate a hybrid working policy of a minimum of 2 days per week in the office.

In line with our EDI strategy and Total Reward policy, we calculate our salaries based on benchmarking data across the charity sector. To ensure fairness for existing staff and new joiners, we do not offer salaries above the advertised rate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead or contribute to the planning and briefing of PPC campaigns with our media agency, ensuring clear objectives, audiences, and success measures are defined.
  • Oversee the delivery and optimisation of PPC activity in line with campaign briefs, performance targets, and digital best practice.
  • Monitor and review campaign performance, analysing agency reports and identifying opportunities for optimisation and improvement.
  • Support the evaluation of PPC activity by defining and applying campaign KPIs, ensuring measurement aligns with wider departmental objectives.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Experience managing and optimising PPC and display campaigns across multiple objectives or audiences.
  • Experience working with media agencies and using reporting and optimisation tools to manage paid media activity.
  • Experience working within, or alongside, digital teams including Paid Media, CRM, or Web.
  • Understanding of how PPC contributes to wider multi-channel digital marketing activity.
  • Strong knowledge of PPC performance measurement and digital marketing KPIs

You will be part of the Digital Engagement team, working within a collaborative and forward-thinking environment that supports innovation, shared learning and inclusive values. The team’s work drives online supporter interaction through digital marketing campaigns, while strategically advancing and innovating the charity’s digital marketing platforms and capabilities.
