About the Role

The new post of Senior Digital Fundraising Officer is an essential role, delivering digital
campaigns to engage new supporters and acquire new members and donors, ultimately
ensuring LCC’s campaigning continues to be impactful and effective for years to co

To be successful you will need:

•  Minimum of five years’ experience working in a similar digital fundraising or marketing

role(s) for other charities, membership organisations, or agencies.

•  High level of proficiency working with Facebook Ads Manager, including strong
experience using the platform to deliver fundraising and supporter acquisition
campaigns.

•  Strong experience using email marketing platforms to build supporter journeys and

run email fundraising campaigns or appeals.

It would also be beneficial to have:

•  Knowledge of Google Ads, Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics.
•  Experience articulating compelling cases for support.
•  Experience running multi

Principal Purpose of Role
The Senior Digital Fundraising Officer leads the day
LCC’s digital fundraising and member acquisition functions. They are responsible for
recruiting new members and donors and contributing to the growth of membership a

Duties and Responsibilities

•  Lead on digital fundraising and member acquisition, including developing annual plans

and managing related income and expenditure budgets.

•  Plan, deliver and optimise paid media campaigns to promote advocacy actions and

acquire new supporters.

•  Provide expert digital knowledge to actively shape fundraising propositions and

maximise the potential return of marketing spend.

•  Lead planning and delivery of digital fundraising and member acquisition campaigns

on Facebook Ads Manager.

•  Contribute to overseeing

•  Contribute to increasing the number of new members LCC recruits by 5% annually.

Key Relationships

 - The Senior Digital Fundraising Officer is based within LCC’s Marketing &

Internal
Membership team and works closely with the Head of Marketing & Membership, Senior
Membership & CRM Officer, and Senior Marketing Communications Officer.

In addition, the role requires frequent collaborative and cross team working, especially on
major projects, and especially with LCC’s Campaigns & Community Development Team.

 - The Senior Digital Fundraising Officer is the main point of contact for LCC’s digital

analytics consultant.

They are required to identify, brief and manage relationships with suppliers including
designers, photographers, illustrators, animators and filmmakers.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience
