Duties and Responsibilities • Lead on digital fundraising and member acquisition, including developing annual plans and managing related income and expenditure budgets. • Plan, deliver and optimise paid media campaigns to promote advocacy actions and acquire new supporters. • Provide expert digital knowledge to actively shape fundraising propositions and maximise the potential return of marketing spend. • Lead planning and delivery of digital fundraising and member acquisition campaigns on Facebook Ads Manager. • Contribute to overseeing Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics , including working with an analytics consultant to provide access to data required to analyse effectiveness and inform decisions about fundraising activities. • Rapidly respond to news and real -world events to create opportunities for supporter acquisition. • Build, evaluate and continually optimise email welcome journeys for new supporters. • Implement and continually optimise landing pages and online donation and join forms. • Plan and deliver multi -channel fundraising appeals and member acquisition campaigns. • Commission designers and creative agencies to produce compelling creative to support member recruitment and fundraising campaigns. • Monitor performance and analyse results to provide status reports on active campaigns and in continually improve performance. -depth end of campaign reports, including recommendations to • Utilise data and audience insight to identify opportunities and make recommendation to improve and enhance strategies and plans. • Proactively maintain excellent knowledge of emerging trends and digital fundraising best practice. • Work across the organisation as the ‘Digital Lead’, advising senior managers and project leads on the potential for digital marketing to drive growth, and ensuring digital thinking is embedded in all strategically important projects. • Draw on expertise and knowledge to lead initiatives to continually strengthen and improve the organisation’s approach to digital marketing and fundraising. • Maintain an up -to-date knowledge of current legislation and industry standards and adhere to all relevant regulations and guidance including from the ICO and Fundraising Regulator. Key Result Areas and Measures • Contribute to increasing the number of new members LCC recruits by 5% annually. • Contribute to the year -on -year growth of LCC’s membership numbers. • Diversify LCC’s income, measurably increasing the proportion of income received from donations vs. membership subscriptions. Key Relationships - The Senior Digital Fundraising Officer is based within LCC’s Marketing & Internal Membership team and works closely with the Head of Marketing & Membership, Senior Membership & CRM Officer, and Senior Marketing Communications Officer. In addition, the role requires frequent collaborative and cross team working, especially on major projects, and especially with LCC’s Campaigns & Community Development Team. - The Senior Digital Fundraising Officer is the main point of contact for LCC’s digital External fundraising agency and will contribute to developing the relationship with the google analytics consultant. They are required to identify, brief and manage relationships with suppliers including designers, photographers, illustrators, animators and filmmakers.
