ABOUT THE ROLE

Saint Michaels Hospice Charity Stores are at the heart of our community.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Retail Volunteer to join our friendly team in our store in Station Parade. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of something special, supporting your local hospice while gaining valuable retail experience.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

This role would suit someone who enjoys working with people, has an interest in retail or sustainable fashion, and likes being part of a busy and welcoming environment.

As part of our volunteer team, you will help create a positive experience for our customers and donors by supporting with:

• Delivering excellent customer service

• Creating a welcoming and friendly shop environment

• Sorting, steaming and preparing donations for sale

• Assisting with visual merchandising and shop displays

• Supporting the team to keep the shop well-presented and stocked

We are looking for someone who is:

• Friendly, approachable and reliable

• A team player with a positive attitude

• Keen to learn and get involved

• Passionate about supporting their local community

No previous retail experience is required – full support and guidance will be provided.
