Job Title:Regional Manager East Sussex
Salary: £40,615- £48,545
Location: CXK Hastings or CXK Eastbourne (Hybrid, min 3 days a week in the office)
Contract: Permanent, Full time, 37 hours per week

Job Purpose:
- To manage the delivery of all CXK contracts in East Sussex with particular emphasis upon providing leadership to designated delivery staff, ensuring quality of operations and beneficiary experience.
- To be accountable for meeting and striving to exceed outcomes for all contract performance, managing all deadlines, including the recording and reporting of management information.
- To act as a point of contact for Funders and Commissioners, responding positively, proactively and promptly to all requests received and representing CXK at meetings
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Manage and monitor the performance of the East Sussex delivery teams across the region to meet contract requirements, setting targets and KPIs.
- Oversee the operational management of Area Managers in the region taking responsibility for operational planning processes to ensure they are effective, that beneficiaries play a role in the process and that plans enable a cohesive approach across the contacts.
- To be the first point of contact for Commissioners and CXK Area Managers to effectively manage the day-to-day requirements of all contracts.
- Participate in local networks, including representing CXK at committees / meetings where appropriate, to ensure the Charity’s role is sustained and information about local needs and demand is shared with partners.
- Work with the Director of Services ensuring that CXK’s business plan and strategic objectives are supported and realised, provide internal performance progress reports and ensure any risks are escalated and mitigated in a timely way.
- Work closely with the finance manager to ensure that all contracts are working to budget, ensuring value for money is achieved
- Provide support and oversight for safeguarding issues and ensure that all concerns are dealt with appropriately.
- Ensure that contracts are delivered to CXK quality assurance standards and that there is a schedule of quality checks in place including observation of delivery and audits of records including those for planning meetings and follow ups made.
- Provide line management of staff including the completion of appraisals and providing them with support in their role. Set and monitor individual performance / KPI targets as a minimum monthly.
- Undertake any other reasonable duties that may be required from time to time. The duties may be changed and/or varied to meet changing circumstances at the discretion of Management.
All appointees will be subject to a n enhanced DBS Check.
