We're seeking a compassionate and motivated Recovery Support Worker to join our team at HMP Rye Hill, working 35 hours per week to support individuals affected by drug and alcohol misuse on their journey towards recovery and successful reintegration into the community.
Working within an integrated healthcare team, you'll deliver person-centred interventions that promote recovery, reduce harm, and empower lasting change.
What You'll Be Doing
- Managing a caseload of clients throughout their recovery journey
- Completing assessments, risk assessments, care plans and reviews
- Delivering structured 1:1 interventions and group sessions
- Providing harm reduction advice and recovery-focused support
- Supporting service users with release planning and through-care arrangements
- Working closely with healthcare, probation, housing, employment and community partners
- Maintaining accurate case records and meeting service KPIs
- Contributing to a safe, high-quality and outcome-focused service
What We're Looking For
- Experience supporting individuals with substance misuse, recovery or complex needs
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to manage a varied caseload and prioritise effectively
- A proactive, flexible and solution-focused approach
- Confidence working as part of a multi-disciplinary team
- Good IT and record-keeping skills
