Project Worker
Due to expansion of current services and with funding from Welsh Government, NYAS Cymru, (Wales) are seeking a number of exciting new positions. You will join a committed and dynamic team that are making children and young people’s rights a reality in Wales.
We are looking for a Project Worker to grow and develop our existing project for Young Women and Girls who are care experienced young mothers or expectant mothers.
You will provide holistic wraparound support, advice, information and advocacy along with the shared responsibility of the development of participation groups, training and peer led support.

In your application, you will need to evidence, using specific examples, how your skills and experience meet the criteria laid out in the person specification, within the job description attached. Requirements include:
- Proven experience in working with children and young people in a social care setting
- Knowledge of Social Services Processes and Procedures.
- An understanding of the importance of listening to children and young people without bias or prejudice.
- Experience of group work, providing training and developing toolkits for professionals and young people.
- Understanding of safeguarding and legal duty in respect of reporting any concerns.
To meet the requirements of the role you must live within one of the geographical areas, as stated above.
