Salary: £26,500 – £28, 000 per annum (depending on experience)
Contract: 12-month fixed term (with potential to extend)
Hours: 35 hours per week (flexible, including occasional evenings/weekends)
Location: Hybrid – Office / Home / Community Sites (Lambeth)
Reports to: AT Beacon Project Manager
About the Role
This is a pivotal role at the heart of a growing, community-led health initiative.
The Project Support Officer (Operations & Data) will drive the day-to-day coordination, performance tracking, and operational delivery of the AT Beacon Project. Working closely with senior leadership and public health partners, you will ensure that programmes run efficiently, data is robust and actionable, and community impact is clearly evidenced.
This role is ideal for someone with experience in NHS, local authority, or community health programmes, looking to take ownership within an innovative and fast-growing model.
Key Responsibilities
- Programme Operations & Delivery
• Coordinate the smooth delivery of Beacon Hub activities across multiple sites
• Support the implementation of key initiatives (e.g. Fruit & Vegetable Prescription Programm
• Manage logistics, including resources, scheduling, and site coordination
Ensure consistent operational standards across outreach settings
2. Data, Reporting & Insights
• Maintain high-quality data systems to track programme activity and outcomes
• Produce regular reports for Senior Management Team and public health partners
• Support the development and updating of performance dashboards
• Analyse trends to inform service improvements and strategic decisions
Ensure data accuracy, compliance, and timely submission of key metrics
3. Stakeholder & Partnership Support
• Act as a key point of contact for internal teams, community partners, and external stakeholders
• Support engagement with faith organisations, local businesses, and public health partners
Contribute to partnership coordination and communication
4. Senior Leadership Support
Support SMT with coordination of priorities, meetings, and key activities
• Prepare agendas, reports, and briefing documents
• Assist in tracking actions and ensuring follow-through across the team
5. Events, Outreach & Engagement
• Support planning and delivery of community events, workshops, and outreach activity
• Attend and coordinate on-site delivery where required
• Contribute to community engagement and visibility of the project
6. Communications & Digital Support
Support updates to website and social media platforms
• Assist in producing simple, high-quality communications and materials
Ensure consistent messaging across project outputs
Person Specification
Essential
• Experience in a project support, operations, or data role (NHS, local authority, charity, or community sector)
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Experience working with data collection, reporting, or dashboards
• Confident using Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and digital systems
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexible and willing to work occasionally in community/outreach settings
Desirable
Experience in public health, social prescribing, or community health programmes
Experience working with multi-agency partnerships
Familiarity with monitoring & evaluation frameworks
Experience supporting senior leaders or programme managers
