Priest in Charge - Weoley Castle, St Gabriel and Oversight Minister

THE BIRMINGHAM DIOCESAN BOARD OF FINANCE
Weoley Castle
Full-time
22nd March 2026
Listed today

The Bishop of Birmingham seeks a creative and missional priest to serve the people of Weoley Castle and work with the very committed PCC and congregation in a season of growth, transition and reimagining of the church site. Weoley Castle is an outer estate suburb of Birmingham, about five miles south-west of the city centre.

St Gabriel’s is accessible to its local community, offering all-age Communion services as the main act of worship, while the associated St Gabriel’s community centre charity hosts a range of other activities. There is already a clear vision for mission in the parish to be put into practice. If you are a faith-filled collaborative leader, who can delegate clearly and communicate effectively, we would love to hear from you.
