Description

Podiatrist Volunteers – In-patient Unit and Living Well Centre

At Rowans Hospice, we honour life and offer hope by providing specialist end of life care of the highest quality. We guide patients and those closest to them through the journey of their illness, supporting them every step of the way.

Volunteers provide a fundamental service to our patients . Without the support of our volunteers this service would fall to the clinical staff which would take them away from providing clinical care.

We have vacancies across the week, however we are particularly interested to hear from people who have availability at weekends for our In-patient Unit as these are becoming increasingly hard to cover.

Experience is necessary.

Rowans Hospice is committed to ensuring the safety and welfare of all children and vulnerable adults needing our care and support. Subsequently, our recruitment process is thorough, ensuring a consistent and detailed approach to gather information from and about candidates so that all persons appointed are suitable to work with children and vulnerable adults.
