£38,202 per year + Standby Allowance + Call‑Out Payments

Cunninghame Housing Association – Direct Works Team

Are you a skilled, time‑served Plumber who takes pride in doing the job right the first time?

Do you want a role where your trade, your professionalism and your attention to detail genuinely improve tenants’ homes and quality of life?

Cunninghame Housing Association is looking for a dedicated Direct Works Plumber to join our in‑house team, carrying out high‑quality repairs, planned works and emergency response services across our housing stock.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Undertake a wide range of plumbing works — from day‑to‑day repairs to full bathroom, kitchen and adaptation upgrades.

• Carry out technical assessments, diagnose faults and complete repairs professionally.

• Complete pre‑inspection visits to plan materials, labour and access needs.

• Use mobile working software to record job information accurately.

• Deliver emergency repairs as part of our out‑of‑hours rota.

• Work alongside other trades, supervisors and schedulers to deliver excellent service.

• Maintain van stock, complete daily vehicle checks and ensure tools are maintained.

• Support safe working practices and help apprentices develop their trade skills.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

• Recognised time‑served Plumbing qualification.

• Strong trade experience within domestic or social housing settings.

• Excellent customer care and communication skills.

• Solid understanding of Health & Safety.

• A flexible, team‑focused approach.

• Full UK driving licence and Disclosure Check (CHA covers cost).

• Gas Safe registration desirable but not essential.
