JOB DESCRIPTION

Personal Assistant

 

A LITTLE ABOUT MYSELF

 

I am a young man in my late teens, with autism spectrum disorder, living in the Fairwater area of Cardiff. I really enjoy going to museums, swimming, trips to the cinema, bowling and playing golf. I am looking to recruit potentially two Personal Care Assistants to support me with my weekly activities.

12  hours a week to be worked on

Wednesdays between 3.00pm to 5.00pm and Saturday and Sunday 12.00pm noon to 5.00pm

 

RATE OF PAY

 

£15.85 per hour

 

TASKS INVOLVED

  • Keeping me safe by supporting me to access activities in the local community.
  • To assist me to and from my activities

  • Owner driver essential

ABOUT THE JOB

Though a part-time job, this will be a proper job requiring a National Insurance number to be submitted.  A probation period will be necessary in the first instance.  Wages will be paid 4 weekly.  You will receive 5.6 weeks paid holiday (pro rata). You will be required to apply for a DBS check at no expense to you. Support cannot be carried out in the personal assistant’s own home.
