JOB DESCRIPTION

Personal Assistant

A LITTLE ABOUT MYSELF

I am a 7-year-old boy, with ASD and ADHD, living in the Llanrumney area of Cardiff. I really enjoy being outdoors and exploring nature. I love animals and like to attend horse therapy based in Blackwood or Brecon. I also enjoy going to Rampworld to ride my scooter as well as trampolining and going to the cinema. I am looking to recruit a Personal Care Assistants to support me with my weekly activities.

PURPOSE OF JOB

Supporting me to access activities within the community and travelling by car to further destinations for the horse therapy. Support me to socialise with others at my activities.

3 hours a week term time and 6 hours a week in school holidays

RATE OF PAY

£15.55 per hour

Keeping me safe by supporting me to access activities in the local community.

ABOUT THE JOB

Though a part-time job, this will be a proper job requiring a National Insurance number to be submitted. A probation period will be necessary in the first instance. Wages will be paid 4 weekly. You will receive 5.6 weeks paid holiday (pro rata). You will be required to apply for a DBS check at no expense to you. Support cannot be carried out in the personal assistant’s own home.
