UHI Perth is one of Scotland’s leading Colleges of Further and Higher Education, and a large partner in Scotland’s newest University, the University of the Highlands and Islands.
We are looking for people to join our team of MIS Invigilators. Working hours will vary depending on the time of year and/or student need therefore a degree of flexibility is required. Peak times of the year are December, February, April, May and June.
You will provide invigilation and/or support to individuals at times of assessments and examinations. The role(s) requires the ability to listen well, speak clearly, read fluently and write clearly. In addition, you will require the ability to relate to students of all ages and backgrounds who have additional support needs.
You should have experience of working with people to enable them to maximise their potential and increase their confidence to access employment or further education. A professional and approachable manner, legible handwriting and the ability to take notes accurately are essential. An awareness of assistive technology would be an advantage, as would good IT skills.
