About the role
The role involves supervising staff attendance and daily hospital reporting (including occupancy, health indicators, and stock levels), ensuring compliance with clinical and IPC guidelines, and coordinating closely with medical teams, hospital departments, and Emergency Medical Teams (EMTs). Responsibilities include managing referral pathways, maintaining health information systems (including EWARS reporting), supporting and documenting EMT missions, overseeing inventory and equipment, safeguarding confidentiality, monitoring beneficiary feedback, providing clinical improvement recommendations, and ensuring visibility of programme activities.
About You
The ideal candidate should have strong literacy, numeracy, analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills, with a background in medicine or a related field. They should have extensive experience as a medical administrative officer or in a similar hospital-based role. Experience with NGOs, UN agencies, or in humanitarian, development, or emergency settings is desirable, along with proven ability to work with diverse stakeholders. Knowledge of MoH clinical and IPC guidelines, disease surveillance systems, and international humanitarian standards (including Sphere, HAP, and CHS) is also desirable.
