VAC Link Officer – Kirklees

Voluntary & Community (VAC) is looking for a Link Officer in Kirklees to join our Engagement and Quality Team. This is a rewarding opportunity to work alongside VCSE organisations, helping them strengthen their impact, demonstrate quality and ensure community voices are heard.
About the Role
As Link Officer, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery and development of VAC’s programmes across Kirklees, including:
- Supporting organisations to achieve and maintain the Quality 4 Health + Wellbeing accreditation
- Building strong relationships with VCSE organisations, communities and strategic partners
- Promoting and developing the Community Voices programme
- Helping ensure community experiences and insights inform local services and decision-making
- Facilitating networking, training and engagement opportunities across the sector
- Acting as a key point of contact for VAC’s work in Kirklees
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking someone who can build effective relationships, communicate confidently with a wide range of stakeholders and work collaboratively to deliver positive outcomes. Experience of community engagement and supporting organisations to develop and grow would be particularly valuable.
What We Offer
- Salary: £28,300 pro rata
- Part-time: 20 hours per week
- Fixed-term contract for 12 months(with potential extension subject to funding)
- Flexible and remote working
- Employer pension contribution
- 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays (pro rata)
