This role is a great opportunity for either an experienced or aspiring learning and development or organisational development practitioner. Developing a culture of learning is a key priority in our organisational plans to build a great experience for our colleagues – helping us to attract, retain and develop brilliant people who can support our thousands of GP members.

As part of this role you will:

Work alongside the Head of Learning & Culture and other people colleagues, lead the development of a learning culture across RCGP

Plan and deliver impactful learning and development interventions and activities across the organisation

Support the building of organisational capabilities around learning and organisational development

Enable the development of management capabilities across RCGP

Contribute to projects, interventions and activities related to culture, EDI and organisational development

This role will be exciting, busy and rewarding – with opportunities to be innovative and make your mark in this area of work. To be successful you will need to be able to:

Think creatively and inspire colleagues about developing a true culture of learning

Build strong working relationships with lots of different colleagues

Manage competing priorities and projects

Think systemically and holistically – identifying solutions and interventions that really help our colleagues to tackle challenges, grab opportunities, and grow and thrive

We are a small team and so the ability to collaborate, contribute to different pieces of work and turn your hand to different tasks is key. You could find yourself helping to develop our colleague learning platform, facilitating a learning activity and providing advice to managers all in one day! You will get to be part of a supportive, ambitious and collaborative team who all bring their own different skills and experiences – meaning there are plenty of opportunities for you to grow and develop too.
