IT Change & Adoption Lead
We are seeking an IT Change & Adoption Lead to join our friendly Facilities and IT team.
The IT Change & Adoption Lead will champion the development and adoption of Microsoft SharePoint and provide IT advice, training and support to staff and volunteers covering all sites of Florence Nightingale Hospice Charity, including Walton Lodge, Butterfly House and our shops.
What will I be doing?
Duties will include (but are not limited to):

- Assist Facilities & IT Manager to develop an IT & telecommunication strategy which meets the needs of the organisation for the next five years.
- Help identify gaps in our IT requirements, opportunities for investment in new technology & AI and scope for improving our resilience against cyber risks/data breaches & security risks.
- Act as the lead champion for Microsoft 365. Design and deliver training sessions to promote best practices in Teams, Outlook and SharePoint.
- Provide IT advice and practical support to users (staff and volunteers).
- Support with the onboarding / set up of IT hardware for new and existing staff.
- Work with teams across all areas of the Charity to develop, implement and monitor a plan to embed the benefits of AI whilst mitigating the risks.
- Manage the working relationship with our external IT provider. Work with them to ensure our IT, infrastructure and telephone service provision is proportionate and service-focused, whilst achieving value for money.
- Improve the asset tracking of laptops and IT equipment.
About You
Required Experience/ Qualifications:

- Degree in Computer Science, IT, or Business IT, or equivalent professional experience.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical volunteers and staff.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for cloud-based platforms and onsite AV hardware.
- Expertise in Microsoft Teams, SharePoint and Power Platform.
- Ability to identify and plan for future needs from a digital & technical perspective.
- Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently.
- Ability to work positively and without judgement with people of all abilities.
