£13.45 per hour
At Trinity Hospice & Brian House, every role makes a difference. We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Housekeeping Assistant to join our team and help ensure our hospice remains a safe, comfortable and welcoming place for patients, families, visitors, staff and volunteers.

The Role
As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will play a key role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the hospice. Working as part of a supportive housekeeping team, you’ll help ensure that all areas are clean, safe and presentable while supporting the comfort and wellbeing of everyone who visits or works within the hospice.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Cleaning and maintaining hospice areas to the highest standards
- Following infection prevention and control procedures
- Managing laundry and linen services, including curtain changes
- Safely using cleaning equipment and materials
- Supporting colleagues to deliver a consistent, high-quality service
- Using our room booking system to plan work around meetings and events
- Reporting maintenance issues and health and safety concerns
- Helping to create a welcoming environment for patients, families and visitors
- Supporting new team members as a workplace buddy
- Working positively with colleagues across departments
About You

Previous housekeeping, cleaning or hospitality experience would be advantageous, although full training will be provided. Most importantly, we are looking for someone who is committed to making a positive difference and helping us provide the best possible experience for those who use our services.
