Job Summary

As Head of Student Life at the Hult London Undergraduate Campus, you will be part of the dynamic campus team ensuring our globally diverse students body feel welcomed, connected, and empowered to succeed, academically, personally, and socially. You will drive initiatives that will positively influence student retention and satisfaction. You will lead strategies and programmes that support students’ transition to life on campus, foster intercultural understanding, and build a learning environment that extends beyond the classroom. This position will report directly to the Senior Director of Campus Life and Operations.

Role Description

As the Head of Student Life, you will play a key role in cultivating a vibrant and inclusive campus culture through impactful co-curricular programming. You will enhance student engagement and leadership through effective support of the Hult Student Association (HSA) and student clubs, fostering meaningful engagement across the student body. You will lead the planning and execution of major milestone events from intake/orientation to graduation, ensuring these experiences are seamless and memorable. Your role will also involve developing and implement content strategies to promote engagement across digital and traditional platforms and campus-wide student communications. Strengthen communication and visibility of student life initiatives through creative content and social media. In addition, you will oversee coordination for student campus rotation, Hult Prize, and other large-scale events, ensuring smooth operations and effective collaboration across departments. You will work closely with our Enrollment, Alumni, Wellbeing and Careers teams to support their events throughout the year. You will manage and mentor members of the Student Life team and student interns, coordinating cross-departmentally to deliver exceptional student experiences and ensure cohesive campus engagement.

Responsibilities

Student Adjustment, Wellbeing, & Cultural Integration

  • Coordinate initiatives that help students transition to life on campus, including intake/orientation, city navigation workshops, and local cultural immersion.
  • Support the management of the student health insurance program, guidance on accessing internal and external wellbeing support, and collaborate in the holistic support of students of concern.
  • Foster cross-cultural understanding and global citizenship through intercultural programming and diversity-focused events.
  • Collaborate with academic team and support services to integrate city-based experiences with classroom learning.

Extra-Curricular Learning & Engagement

  • Facilitate learning experiences outside the classroom—such as civic engagement, student conferences, and experiential learning excursions.

Community Building & Belonging

  • Develop a strong, inclusive campus culture that encourages participation, celebration of diversity, and student wellbeing.
  • Oversee student clubs, societies, and leadership programs to ensure wide engagement and development opportunities.
  • Partner with student leaders to co-create events and support initiatives that reflect student needs and global perspectives.
  • Cultivate school spirit and institutional pride through campus traditions, flagship events, and storytelling that celebrate student achievements and Hult’s unique global identity.
