Full time, permanent, 40 hours per week

A Front Office Coordinator is essentially the "air traffic controller" of the hotel. They manage the flow of information between guests and departments, ensuring that the first point of contact, whether via phone or digital booking, is seamless.

The Front Office Coordinator serves as the central hub of guest services and internal communication. This role is responsible for managing the hotel switchboard, processing room and dining reservations, and coordinating guest requests to support the front office reception team to ensure flawless experience from pre-arrival to check-out.

Responsibilities

  • Communication Hub:Manage all incoming calls (switchboard), directing inquiries to the appropriate departments or handling guest needs directly.
  • Reservations Management:Process bookings via phone, email, and online systems; manage cancellations, modifications, restaurant bookings and private dining.
  • Guest Liaison:Act as the primary point of contact for guest inquiries regarding hotel services, local attractions, and amenities.
  • Revenue Support:Identify opportunities to upsell room categories or hotel packages to maximize property revenue.
  • Administrative Coordination:Maintain accurate guest profiles, handle billing inquiries, and ensure the front desk team is briefed on VIP arrivals or special requests.
