Are you a finance professional who is looking to make a meaningful impact? We are seeking a committed and highly organised Finance Officer to join our friendly team on a part-time basis

This is an opportunity to use your financial skills and experience to support a charity that provides essential services to people with autism and their families. As part of our team, you will help ensure the organisation remains financially sustainable, enabling us to continue delivering high-quality support and making a positive difference to the people we support.

The Role

Working as part of a small, supportive team of four, you will play a key role in the smooth day-to-day running of the charity's finances. Supporting the Finance Manager, you will help maintain accurate financial records, process transactions, assist with budgeting and financial planning, and ensure compliance with financial regulations and charity sector requirements.

A day in the life of a Finance Officer would include:

  • Liaising with suppliers
  • Dealing with invoices and payment queries
  • Onboard new suppliers
  • Preparing weekly reports
  • Handling phone and email queries
  • Posting invoices and credit notes
  • Processing expenses and credit card payments

Hours of work

Three days per week

08:40am – 5pm
