About the role
We’re looking for a Finance and Debt Specialist to join our Money Advice Team, based in either Darlington or Redcar.
Our Money Advice Team places client wellbeing at the heart of everything we do and delivering high-quality advice that transforms lives.
As a fully accredited Debt Advisor, you’ll be offering people a lifeline. Lifting the burden of unmanageable debt, helping find a way forward, supporting them as they regain control. You’ll advocate on their behalf with creditors, removing the fear and anxiety financial challenges bring.
Assessing client’s situation with care, identifying best strategies and options to resolve their debts. Providing practical budgeting support and income maximisation advice to build long-term financial resilience.
This is also a regulated role, requirements to follow clear procedures in line with the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) Code of Conduct. This ensures all advice you give is high quality, ethical, fully compliant and process-driven.
This role is about real, meaningful, measurable impact on people’s lives. You’ll see the difference you make in reduced stress, renewed confidence, and financial stability.
What you’ll need:
• A deep sense of empathy and compassion
• Strong numeracy and writing skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Communicate clearly and manage your time effectively
• Experience in debt and money advice
• Drive to make a difference in people’s lives
We will provide extensive training and development, helping you grow in confidence and capability as you deliver first-class advice that really matters.
