About the role
Join our friendly team at our respite home in Newbury (RG19), supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, and complex health needs during short breaks – from weekends to longer stays. Every day is different, giving you the chance to make a real difference and help people feel valued, safe, and empowered.
The people we support enjoy:
- Zoo trips, various outings, and cinema visits
- Holidays and day trips
- Social activities and family time
Your role will include:
- Personal care and daily living support
- Medication administration
- Supporting complex health needs (including stoma care, PEG feeding, epilepsy – full training provided)
- Meal preparation and healthy routines
- Promoting independence, confidence, and choice
Shift Patterns
- 7:00am – 2:30pm
- 2:30pm – 10:00pm
- Sleep-in: 10:00pm – 7:00am (£50 paid per sleep-in)Weekend work is essential.
Rotas are provided in advance to support a healthy work-life balance.
About you
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Warm, approachable, and adaptable
- Happy to learn – no experience needed, full training provided
- A confident communicator and strong team player
- A manual driver with a full UK driving licence
