About the role

Join our friendly team at our respite home in Newbury (RG19), supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, and complex health needs during short breaks – from weekends to longer stays. Every day is different, giving you the chance to make a real difference and help people feel valued, safe, and empowered.

The people we support enjoy:

  • Zoo trips, various outings, and cinema visits
  • Holidays and day trips
  • Social activities and family time

Your role will include:

  • Personal care and daily living support
  • Medication administration
  • Supporting complex health needs (including stoma care, PEG feeding, epilepsy – full training provided)
  • Meal preparation and healthy routines
  • Promoting independence, confidence, and choice

Shift Patterns

  • 7:00am – 2:30pm
  • 2:30pm – 10:00pm
  • Sleep-in: 10:00pm – 7:00am (£50 paid per sleep-in)Weekend work is essential.
    Rotas are provided in advance to support a healthy work-life balance.

About you

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Warm, approachable, and adaptable
  • Happy to learn – no experience needed, full training provided
  • A confident communicator and strong team player
  • A manual driver with a full UK driving licence
