This is a warm, active and structured home, where communication goes beyond words. The ladies express themselves through gestures, sounds and expressions — and you’ll play a key role in helping them feel heard, understood and supported every day.

The ladies you’ll support live full and meaningful lives, supported by strong routines and relationships. They have a wide range of interests and enjoy:

  • Shopping, cinema trips and meals out

  • Support with eating and meal preparation
  • Medication administration

This is a lively home full of personality, humour and warmth.

You’ll provide consistent, person-centred support, helping each individual live safely, confidently and with choice. Your role will include:

  • Supporting daily routines and personal care
  • Preparing meals and supporting healthy lifestyles
  • Administering medication safely
  • Supporting communication through gestures, expressions and cues
  • Using hoists and supporting mobility (training provided)
  • Driving the service vehicle to activities and appointments
  • Supporting community access, swimming and outings
  • Supporting budgeting, shopping and household tasks
  • Encouraging independence, confidence and engagement
  • Creating meaningful, enjoyable experiences every day

This is a 37.5-hour role, worked across:

  • 7:00am – 2:00pm
  • 2:00pm – 9:00pm
  • Alternate weekends
  • Optional sleep-ins:10:00pm – 7:00am (£50 paid to sleep)

Rotas are provided in advance to support a healthy work–life balance.

You’ll be a great fit if you are:

  • Patient, calm and caring
  • Creative, positive and full of energy
  • Values-driven and person-centred
  • Confident learning new communication styles
  • Comfortable supporting personal care and mobility needs
  • A confident manual driver
  • Happy to be active, including swimming and community activities
  • Someone who enjoys building strong, meaningful relationships

Experience is helpful, but not essential — full training will be provided.
