Personal Assistant

 

A LITTLE ABOUT MYSELF

I am a 42 year old young lady who lives near Porth. I am a wheelchair user and I live at home with my family. I want to employ a Personal Assistant to support me when I am at home.

PURPOSE OF JOB

The purpose of the job is to support me at home. I depend on others for most of my support needs. You will therefore keep me company at home, making sure I am safe and have any food or drink which I may need. I may ask you to take me out locally in my wheelchair at times.

HOURS OF WORK

 

20 hours per week maternity cover starting August 2025

RATE OF PAY

 

£14.00 per hour

11:00/11:30 start 5 hrs per day

ABOUT THE JOB

This position is subject to satisfactory references and a DBS Disclosure (Police Check), which must be completed prior to the commencement of employment. The cost of this check will be covered by the Local Authority.

All necessary checks will be conducted to verify that any candidate has the legal right to work in the UK before employment begins.

Although this is a part-time role, it is a legitimate position requiring the submission of a National Insurance number. Employment will commence under an initial trial period.

Wages will be paid on a four-weekly and appropriate holiday pay will be provided.
