Fairfield Trust Job Description and Person Specification Job title: Hospitality Assistants Work base: The Weavers Pub, Dilton Marsh Team: Commercial Hours of work: Part time and Zero Hours contracts available – to include regular weekend and evening working (hours/contracts to be discussed during interview) Salary range: £12.21 per hour (21 + years old) £10.42 per hour (18 -20 years old) £7.55 per hour (under 18 years old) Safeguarding Fairfield Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people and all staff are expected to share this commitment. All posts involving direct contact with young people, children and vulnerable groups are exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. However, amendments to the Exception Order 1975 (2013 & 2020) provide that certain spent convictions and cautions are ‘protected’. These are not subject to disclosure to employers and cannot be taken into account. There is an expectation that this role will involve working at other locations across the Trust, including Fairfield College and Fairfield Animal Centre. This role may also require you to work alongside College students and trainees as they use the centre for training opportunities. The role requires excellent customer relations skills and previous hospitality experience would be an advantage. Additionally, you will be self-motivated and able to work independently, prioritising your workload. 1 Annual holiday entitlement is 5.6 weeks for a full-time employee, and pro-rata for part-time and term time employees. Public holiday entitlement is included in this amount and you may be required to work any public/bank holidays, which fall on a normal working day.
