Summary of role
As a Family Support Worker, you will work closely with a committed team to support mothers with complex and multiple needs
Jasmine Mother & Child is a CQC-regulated and Ofsted-registered residential family centre. Women can access pregnancy stabilisation support, or live with their children while addressing substance use, trauma, mental health needs and wider family pressures. The service provides structured support and parenting assessments, helping mothers stabilise, stay in recovery and strengthen safe relationships with their children.

About the role
This role focus is on on-site care, therapeutic support, and structured assessment, all delivered in a trauma-informed, child-centred environment.
What you will do
- Provide high-quality, person-centred support to women and their children, ensuring dignity, respect, equality and trauma-informed practice at all times.
- Support the day-to-day running of the Jasmine Mother & Child service, including assisting vulnerable families and contributing to a safe, nurturing residential environment.
- Assess, observe and support parenting capacity, contributing to comprehensive parenting assessments and care planning.
- Deliver structured support and role-model positive parenting and independent living skills, offering guidance, feedback and reflective practice in line with statutory guidance and organisational policies.
- Maintain accurate, timely case records.
- Safeguard children and families, adhering to safeguarding policies, risk management plans and raising concerns appropriately to ensure children’s welfare and development
What you will bring
- Experience in providing person-centred care and support to children and mothers in a residential centre
- Knowledge of Safeguarding policies and procedures and ability to respond appropriately to any concerns
- Ability to work 12.5 hour night shifts between Monday & Sundays
- Strong communication and organisational skills

Employment is subject to an Enhanced DBS check; the cost of which will be reimbursed by Trevi.
