Barnardo's is launching an innovative Donated Stock Hub in Rugby – and we are looking for dynamic Donated Stock Hub Associates to support the Team in making it happen. What's the role?
The Donated Stock Hub Associate role will be the key to supporting the building, developing, and delivering an innovative approach to stock by supporting the Team in ensuring the smooth process of stock received and dispatched from Hub, working alongside and motivating a team of volunteers, to prepare the right level of stock to meet store orders, enabling stores to generate additional income whilst maximising the value of every donation received, providing essential funding for the charity.
What You'll Be Doing:
As a Stock Hub Associate, you'll be at the heart of our exciting new Donated Stock Hub operation—handling incoming donations, sorting through hidden treasures, processing and packing stock for selected shops, and helping ensure every item makes a difference. Coaching and motivating a team of volunteers in processing stock, whilst championing Barnardos values and inspiring others to do the same.
What we are looking for :
- Some previous retail, warehouse, teamwork experience.
- Ability to follow process and work in an organised way.
- Motivated to be part of a successful team that deliver results
- Good attention to detail with a passion for sustainability and in particular pre-loved fashion.
- Good level of IT skills.
