Project Description
This service is designed so that private sector landlords or agents acting on their behalf, have access to a service where they can refer their tenants for support. The service will intervene to prevent a need for statutory intervention by the Housing department and work closely with Bridgend County Borough Council in providing support and housing management for their leased properties.
Purpose of Role
To expand the service, developing relationships with landlords and agents, with a view to developing a support service frequently used by private rented sector landlords operating within the Bridgend borough
To support private rented sector tenants who fall into difficulty in managing their tenancy, with the aim of preventing homelessness
To act as the face and access point to the service and develop relationships with landlord agents, acting as a link between landlord / agent and tenants.
To creatively look to increase referrals into the scheme from private rented sector landlords and agents, and increase the number of tenants who have signed consent to be part of the scheme
This role is subject to an Enhanced DBS disclosure.
Please note: Driving Licence and access to own vehicle is essential for this role.
