Nursery Administrator
We’re thrilled to announce the opening of our brand-new nursery in the heart of Deanshanger village, opening the beginning of November. Nestled next to the community centre, our new nursery will be located in the former Deanshanger pre-school building, a space that served local families for many years. We’re proud to bring it back to life with a fresh vision and a deep commitment to early years care.
Purpose of Post
- To provide administrative support to the nursery manager and staff
- To greet parents and respond to queries and deal with general enquiries.
- To liaise with Central Support Office, suppliers and contractors to ensure the efficient upkeep and security of the building, fixtures and fittings.
- To provide support within the nursery when required
Responsible to
- Nursery Manager
Duties and Responsibilities
- Answer the telephone and greeting visitors/parents
- Check emails, replying where appropriate and inform the managers of anything they need to deal with
- Manage and track booking enquiries
- General administrative support for nursery manager and senior staff
- Income fee management (producing invoices, funding queries, chasing payments)
Expectations
- Previous administration experience
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to work under pressure
- Excellent attention to detail
- Flexible approach to a variety of tasks
- Excellent computer skills
- Enjoy working with children
