Purpose of role

The Inclusion Producer will strategically lead, manage and coordinate the Assemble programme in Cardiff, ensuring it’s delivered effectively, inclusively and to the highest standard.

This is a project management and partnership role, responsible for planning, logistics, recruitment, evaluation and relationship management rather than hands-on facilitation or delivery.

Working closely with the National Youth Theatre’s National Inclusion Producer and Inclusion Producers in other UK regions, the post holder will oversee a local team of freelance practitioners and volunteers to deliver creative workshops, training, trips and work experience placements for young people aged 18-25.

You’ll build robust relationships with education institutions (including FE colleges, universities and adult learning providers), as well as community and cultural organisations, ensuring that D/deaf, Disabled, Learning Disabled and Neurodiverse young people can access creative opportunities and progression routes.

Through excellent organisation, communication and partnership management, the Inclusion Producer will make Cardiff’s strand of Assemble a model of best practice that contributes actively to the programme’s national impact.
