Shop Assistants– Derian House Children’s Hospice Retail Shop Westhoughton

Are you passionate about making a difference in your community? Do you have the drive and retail experience to help raise vital funds for our charity? We are looking for two motivated, enthusiastic and experienced individuals to join us at our brand new retail shop in Westhoughton.

The hours for the two positions are:

3 day week -  22.5 hours per week, including weekends if required

2 day week – 15 hours per week, including weekends if required

£12.60/hour

The role:

Working as part of a successful team, you will assist with all the day to day activities including:

• customer service,
• cash handling,
• sort, prepare and price stock,
• ensuring the shop is tidy
• maximising sales and profit.

We are looking for individuals who enjoy dealing with customers, is enthusiastic, works methodically, and works well within a team. You will be used to taking the initiative and be able to motivate a number of volunteers who support us in the shop.
