The Core at Corby Cube Job Description Department: Director Job Title: Administrative & Programming Assistant (maternity cover) Responsible To: Core Director Job Purpose: • To provide administration support across Programming, Operations and Creative Projects at The Core at Corby Cube • To support the progression of the programming diary in collaboration with the marketing manager and director. Key Task Areas: • To provide general administration support to the Director, including programming administration, show contracting, diary management and promoter liaison. • Undertaking routine administration for the Head of Operations at The Core at Corby Cube, including; maintaining data collection, ensuring that information is up to date and accurate, maintaining an efficient filing system and processing financial paperwork. • To provide administration support for the Outreach and Education Manager with some tasks being routine based on term time activities and others ad hoc depending on varying and evolving project needs. • To provide administrational support for the Youth Development Co- Ordinator as they develop a range of new projects and expand the youth programme. • Assist with researching and developing funding applications alongside the Youth Development Co-ordinator and Core Director. • To attend and service meetings, taking and distributing minutes as required by the Core Director/ Head of Operations/ Outreach and Education Manager. • To manage and schedule the diaries for The Core. • To communicate with all internal and external customers in an informative and appropriate manner. • To ensure all relevant information and documentation is distributed to the appropriate departments and external companies. • To ensure a tidy and functional office space and to undertake office stationery ordering and inventory tracking. Job Ref: Administrative & Programming Assistant November 2025 • To be the on-site point of contact for and attend to contractors, deliveries, visitors, and other enquiries. • Work with colleagues in marketing and sales, providing holiday cover as and when required in ensuring the venues displays are up to date. • Undertake box office sales training in order to be able to cover lunch breaks of box office staff as necessary. Acting as Duty manager as and when required and in line with day to day working hours. • To assist from time to time with creative learning activity offsite, supporting the Outreach and Education Manager and youth Development Co- ordinator, particularly at external festivals and events. • To be aware of and adhere to any legislative requirements consistent with the overall duties of this post, with particular regard to Health and Safety policies and procedures, General Data Protection Regulations and Equal Opportunities. • To be aware of and adhere to policies and procedure related to Lone Working. • To be aware of and adhere to policies and procedure related to Safeguarding. • To undergo relevant training and development required by the Core Director and wider organisation. • To carry out any other tasks that will, from time to time, be allocated by the Core Management Team on an ad hoc or continuing basis, commensurate with the general level of responsibility of the post.
