Title: Rehabilitative Palliative Care Assistant Salary: £24,005 pa (FTE)- plus enhancements – Saturday-midnight to midnight + weekdays after 8pm and before 6am = 30% Sunday + Public Holidays = 60%.

Location: Tapping House, Wheatfields, HillingtonHours of work: 30 hours per week – variable shifts including weekends and unsocialable hours

Annual Leave: 25 days increasing to 27 after 5 years’ service and 29 after 9 years’ service + 8 days in lieu of public holidays (FTE)

This post supports the Inpatient Unit team fulfil their objectives, ensuring the fundamentals of care are provided at the point of contact and ensures delivery of a range of interventions to meet the needs of patients within the IPU setting using a holistic approach. The post holder plays a critical role in empowering the IPU team to embed the principles of rehabilitative palliative care.
