Walnut Hill Equine Clinic are seeking a dedicated and passionate veterinarian to join our team ahead of the 2026 breeding season.
Located in the Warwickshire countryside, our independent, forward-thinking, and progressive practice is home to a friendly and supportive team of seven equine vets. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality, client-focused
veterinary care and maintaining strong relationships with our clients and their horses.
About the Role:
This position is ideal for an equine vet with good experience in stud medicine, including routine reproductive work such as scanning, AI (chilled and frozen), and foal care. The role is primarily stud-focused during the
breeding season but will include a varied caseload of first opinion ambulatory work, including general equine practice, lameness examinations, colics and preventative care.
We can offer flexibility for the right candidate, including the possibility of seasonal work for someone wishing to do both Northern and Southern hemisphere stud seasons.
Our clinic is fully equipped with modern diagnostic tools to support clinical excellence, including:
* Purpose built clinic with stabling for 9 inpatients
* Wide variety of endoscopy units including video endoscopy
* Large nursing and administrative support team
* Wireless digital radiography system per vet
* Ultrasound system per vet
* Advanced in-house laboratory
* Regular visits from specialist independent surgeons
* Regenerative therapies including Prostride, Alpha-2, PRP, shockwave and class IV laser systems
