Are you interested in bringing unforgettable events to life and create memorable experiences in one of Hereford’s most iconic settings?
We are seeking a sociable, organised and professional Events Manager (Maternity Cover) to lead our busy Events Department and run a vibrant programme of venue hires and events. This is an exciting time to join the team, you will arrive in time to support the busy Christmas season and lead two exciting large-scale projects already taking shape for 2027. If you have excellent attention to detail, strong leadership skills and a calm, solutions-focused approach, we’d love to hear from you.
The working hours are 35 hours per week, generally Monday to Friday 09:00 to 17:00, with the option of occasional work from home days when appropriate. The post is temporary maternity cover, for 12 months, and is subject to a three-month probation period. The successful candidate will need to be available from Monday 2 November 2026.
The position will command a starting salary of £31,930 (dependent on experience) per annum, with a non-contributory pension scheme, whereby the employer contributes 8% of salary. The appointment of the successful candidate is subject to the receipt of two satisfactory references, proof of right to work in the UK and will also require a satisfactory Enhanced DBS check.
