Job Title: Elementary School Music & Performing Arts Teacher (Part-time)

Salary/Benefits: £35,205 - £53,102 (FTE) per annum depending on qualifications and experience.

Contract term: Fixed term contract 3 August 2026 to 11 June 2027

Hours of Work: 0.2 FTE with 240 minutes of contact time delivered over 3 days per week

Qualifications: Minimum Bachelor degree Teaching Certificate

Preferred Experience: At least two years of classroom teaching experience at the lower Elementary/Primary level International school experience Experience with curriculum development

Other requirements: The right to work in the UK. Employment is dependent on a successful PVG check. GTCS membership is also required before employment starts.

Duties & Responsibilities:

ISA is looking for an experienced and dynamic classroom teacher. The successful candidate will be required to prepare learning opportunities for classes, facilitate in-context learning and support cross-curricular projects utilising a child-centred approach. Instruction will need to be differentiated to meet student needs across the learning continuum. The teacher will also be required to develop, review and revise curriculum in the School’s curriculum mapping tool (Atlas Rubicon), incorporating the school’s Learning Principles in instruction and assessment. Excellent interpersonal skill will be required as team teaching is a central element of ISA’s approach in the Elementary School.

The teacher will also participate in professional development and the after-school activities programme. They will establish and maintain positive relationships with other members of the school staff, showing strong collaborative skills, and communicate effectively and proactively with children and their parents/families. They will attend relevant meetings and support the building of a strong sense of community, diversity and internationalism at the school. Participation in parent conferences, curriculum-review activities and professional development days is expected.
