Education Advisor - Teaching Digital with Confidence

Location: Based in Wales, with the flexibility for online and in-person engagement across regions.
Salary: £50,000 to £55,000 per annum
Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week
STEM Learning is seeking two passionate and strategic Advisors to lead engagement and deliver high-quality professional learning that supports the integration of computing and digital skills across the Curriculum for Wales.
The Role
As a STEM Learning Education Advisor, you will:
- Develop and align professional learning courses with the Curriculum for Wales and the Digital Competence Framework.
- Build and support teacher communities through network meetings and the STEM Community platform.
- Gather and analyse feedback to continuously improve course offerings.
- Liaise with stakeholders including delivery partners, schools, See Science, and local authorities.
- Champion equity and inclusion by ensuring bilingual delivery and support for Welsh-medium practitioners.
Our Ideal Candidate
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Knowledgeable about the Curriculum for Wales and digital education priorities.
- Experienced in professional development or educational programme delivery.
- An excellent communicator and facilitator.
- Skilled at building relationships with educators and stakeholders.
- Bilingual in Welsh and English (Essential).
