Grants Officer
Administration
South Yorkshire Community Foundation
As part of South Yorkshire’s Community Foundation’s 5-year strategic plan, we are implementing new approaches to grant making. We are continuing to build our Grants Team to respond to these ambitions and recruiting a new full-time Grants Officer to assist the effective and efficient delivery of our diverse range of grants programmes.
We are the largest local grant giving charity in South Yorkshire. With nearly 40 years’ experience at local level, we match the passions and values of our donors with projects and initiatives that meet local needs.
We bring together individuals, businesses, and the public and voluntary sector, so we can work together to tackle inequalities, improve the quality of life and build resilient communities. To date we have given out £39m in grants to over 8,000 community groups.
South Yorkshire’s Community Foundation supports community groups throughout the region with grant funding and advice, helping people facing hardship and disadvantage, and those working to improve the communities they live in.
We are looking for an experienced Grants Assessor and confident communicator and administrator to manage a variety of our funding programmes and build excellent working relationships with our community groups.
If you are passionate about the people and places of South Yorkshire, with excellent communication and organisational skills then come and join our dynamic team of staff, Trustees, and volunteers. You will be based in a community campus close to excellent facilities, with access to public transport links.
