Double Impact is a lived-experience recovery organisation that supports with their substance use. We work alongside our service users, helping them build on their strengths and connect with support networks, opportunities and community resources that make lasting change possible. Around 85% of our team have lived experience, which helps us understand and connect to those we work with.
In Lincolnshire we deliver services in partnership with Turning Point and Framework under the name Lincolnshire Recovery Partnership (LRP). Together we help people make real progress with their substance use, from harm-reduction advice to tailored treatment and recovery programmes.
This role is for a Recovery Coach - who will use a coaching approach, carrying a caseload of people looking to maintain their abstinence long term.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about making a difference, confident talking to potentially complex individuals and able to motivate people to achieve their goals.

Would you be willing to learn the skills to become an effective peer support group facilitator and run recovery workshops?

Could you be a consistent source of encouragement and hope, are you personable, approachable and non-judgemental?

We will support you to develop recovery plans with clients, run structured sessions, and build the skills needed to help people stay on track and reach their goals.If you want to make a genuine difference in Boston and across Lincolnshire, we would love to hear from you.Duties will include: -
· Supporting clients achieve their goals - ensuring all processes, procedures and recording are adhered too
· Carry out assessments of service users and facilitate the design of individually tailored recovery plans
· Champion the benefits and possibilities of ‘abstinent’ based recovery
· Connecting with individuals in treatment to access the Recovery Service and subsequently onto the Academy learning pathway
· Facilitating our recovery focused groups including peer-led mutual aid and recovery themed psycho-educational groups (full training provided)
· Have an ambitious attitude for all our service users and what people can achieve in recoveryThe successful candidate will ideally have:
· Relevant experience of working with people in the drugs and alcohol treatment/recovery fields
· Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care
· Excellent IT skills and ideally experience of recording information on data base systems
· Understanding of drug and alcohol addiction and the Treatment/Recovery thereof.
· Knowledge or personal experience of abstinent based recovery models
· A genuine passion for working with people with substance use problems and for recovery
· Can do attitude and positive mind set
