Location
We are seeking an experienced and motivated professional with a passion for supporting vulnerable young
people. You will bring energy, empathy and creativity to the new role of Positive Relationships
Mentor. You will play a key part in helping our learners to engage positively with school life,
overcome barriers to learning and achieve both academically and socially.
You will work as part of a growing multidisciplinary team that includes Teachers, Therapists and an
Educational Psychologist, all dedicated to improving outcomes for our learners. Through close
collaboration with colleagues, you will build relationships that foster emotional regulation, resilience
and self-belief. You will help learners to reflect on their experiences, make positive choices and build
trust that enable them to succeed in school and beyond.
In this role, you will provide tailored support for learners who are finding it difficult to engage in their
lessons, helping them to re-establish confidence and motivation. You will be accountable for
supporting measurable improvements in learners’ wellbeing, participation and progress. Your
commitment to inclusion, strong communication skills and ability to connect with young people will
make a tangible difference to their educational journeys.
Experience of working with children and young people with autism or social, emotional and mental
health needs would be an advantage.
