We are looking for a compassionate and reliable Waking Night Support Worker to join our dedicated team at our residential home in Highcliffe. In this rewarding role, you’ll play a vital part in ensuring our residents safety, comfort, and wellbeing throughout the night - offering reassurance and essential support whenever it’s needed most.
We are seeking someone with a solid background in health and social care and experience supporting people with autism.

The role:
At Autism Unlimited, we help people live independent and fulfilling lives. Everyone we support communicates in their own way — some use PECS cards, others Sign-a-long, and some use familiar phrases. If you haven’t used Sign-a-long before, not to worry we provide all required training!
Hours of work: 20 hours per week
Friday and Saturday - 10pm – 8am

- Staying alert throughout the shift
- Administering any necessary medication
- Completing documentation at regular periods throughout shift
- Following the support plan in place for each person we support, to enable the person to feel comfortable and happy, adapting this as required based on change in behaviour
- Providing some elements of personal care from personal hygiene prompts, helping to bath and wash, medication
