We are looking for an experienced, inspiring and dedicated EYFS Teacher / Key Worker to join our thriving Nursery School. You will be responsible, via the Head of Pre-Prep, for the provision of a variety of activities for a group of children in the Nursery School, whilst maintaining the care and safety of our youngest learners

The Pre-Prep is very much part of The Prep, occupying self-contained buildings at the heart of the school campus. Staffed by specialist Key Stage 1 and Early Years teachers, the aim is to provide a stimulating and happy environment in which children can develop intellectually and socially to reach their potential.

As part of the dedicated team, you will work with children aged 2 years 8 months to 4 years, planning engaging learning experiences and supporting children’s individual development and wellbeing.

We are looking for an experienced Early Years practitioner who:

• Holds QTS, EYTS or a relevant Level 6 qualification.
• Has at least two years’ experience working with children aged five and under.
• Has a strong understanding of the EYFS and child development from birth to five.
• Can plan and differentiate engaging learning experiences to meet individual needs.
• Has an understanding of early literacy, phonics and early mathematics.
• Is confident supporting children’s speech, language and communication, as well as their personal, social and emotional development.
• Has excellent communication, organisation and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively.
• Builds warm, positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
• Understands the importance of safeguarding, inclusion and children’s wellbeing.
• Is a collaborative team player who is equally confident working independently.
• Brings energy, creativity, joy and laughter to the Nursery.
