We love audio and make lots of it – a rich mix of content spanning multiple genres including consumer, investigations, documentaries, religion and arts for national BBC Radio, the World Service and Sounds.

BBC Audio is looking for a dynamic and engaged production management assistant (PMA) to support the production management community - covering a variety of tasks: including responsibility for the smooth running of production offices and being a key point of contact for the head of audio north, production managers and support to the production coordinators. Responsibilities

  • Support and implement practical actions to reduce environmental impact throughout production activities

Knowledge, skills & experience

  • Enthusiasm for radio and podcasts - a genuine interest in audio content, with a proactive attitude and a passion for supporting creative teams
  • Demonstrable experience of dealing with a wide range of administrative skills such as managing facilities bookings and accreditation, with the ability to prioritise effectively
  • Demonstrable experience of working collaboratively with others as part of a team in a professional broadcast/production environment, as well as the ability to work independently
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication abilities, with confidence to liaise with a wide range of stakeholders across teams and departments
