• Are you looking for a rewarding chance to give back and work with Young people. Our activity groups help Young Carers experience the things that their caring roles prevent them from.
• You will work Monday to Thursday evenings between 5.00 and 7.30pm at the different activity groups supporting the manager and leading the groups as and when allocated.
• In addition you will work flexibly during the week to promote and find more Young Carers that would benefit from our support. This will involve working with partner charities, schools, the youth service and statutory authorities.
• Full support, mentoring and training will be given.

Per year

• To assist the Young Carers Manager in delivering the sessions
• To ensure that all the young carers are engaged in the activities
• To provide individualised support to the young carers as needed
• Promote and work with other organisations to reach more Young Carers
• Work flexibly to ensure that the job outcomes are achieved
• Other duties to ensure the success of the sessions

• Have empathy and understanding of the pressures faced by young carers
• Be able to lead sessions coordinating staff, volunteers and young carers of different ages
• Full driving licence and vehicle
• Good IT skills to record information on the Charity database
• Great communications skills
