As with any charity, the support we receive from individuals and charitable trusts helps us to continue to provide our essential services. However, support isn’t all about money – we value any kind of contribution you may be able to make to our services or organisation.
We are seeking experienced, reliable, and driven volunteers to co-facilitate our person-centred peer support groups.
Through free and accessible peer support groups we support members in building confidence, re-connecting with their communities, and progressing along their own path to wellbeing and recovery.
This role is suitable for people who have some experience of facilitating groups/holding supportive spaces that are person-centred.
Peer Support Groups at Mind in Camden: We offer free peer support groups open to any adult 18+. Each group focuses on different experiences, such as anxiety/mood, hearing voices, and LGBTQ+. These groups are a space for people to come together and share their experiences, challenges, coping strategies, and build connections with like-minded people.
All volunteers who apply must:
- Be willing to carry out a DBS check and be able to
- Attend a two day training on Monday 13thand Thursday 16thOctober
- Attend an interview (time TBD)
