Job Description

This role is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a can-do attitude and a passion for organisation.

You’ll work across all areas of the building including bars, retail, hospitality and kitchens. You’ll be responsible for the handling, safe movement and organisation of stock and assets as well as supporting the functionality of the building. You’ll be knowledgeable and efficient and a recognisable face within the venue.

The role will be 32 hours per week, which may vary according to business needs, including occasional weekend shifts (around 1 in 4 weekends). A typical working pattern could be working from 8am to 4pm 4 days a week, and 8am to 12pm on one day.

• Hold a First Aid Qualification, or a Food Hygiene Certificate.

This is what you will be doing...

Supporting Stock:

  • Moving and transporting stock through the building, including receiving deliveries (ensuring that delivery notes are correct), storing stock and moving items to required areas.
  • Manual Handling, loading and unloading cages and trolleys in cellars and bars.
  • Organising Stock, storing stock in the designated areas, ensuring stock is regularly rotated between cellars and bars, stock is easy to access and stored safely.
  • Assisting with monthly stocktakes. Helping with the counts and ensuring that all areas are prepped in anticipation of stocktake.
  • Be knowledgeable about food safety and health & safety working within our procedures and regulations.

Building Support:

  • Cleaning & Maintenance, ensuring that all areas of the building are kept to the required cleanliness standards using correct COSHH procedures.
  • Coordinating with management/events team through function sheets to ensure that all stock is delivered to required areas on time. Assisting the events team with any hospitality room set ups/striking/turn rounds, ensuring the safe movement of furniture around the building.
  • Completing daily paperwork including delivery records, temperature checks, cleaning records and visual checks of areas.
  • Maintaining and safely using equipment such as jet washes, compactor, cages, trolleys.
  • Maintaining the cleanliness of the compactor yard, ensuring it is kept a clean and safe environment.
  • Maintaining the cleanliness of the bin store and facilitating waste management and recycling procedures for the building.
